She has a wealth of experience among children with Autism, Hearing impairment, learning disabilities, ADHD, developmental delays, and Articulation Disorders, for over a decade at national and international clinical settings. She is licensed by the Rehabilitation Council of India and Indian Speech and Hearing Association. She completed BSc. In Audiology and speech language pathology from Dr. S. R. Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing, Bangalore in 2010 and Masters from M.V. Shetty, Mangalore in 2012.
She has taken additional training and certifications in practicing comprehensive treatment programs such as PROMPT therapy, Oral Placement Therapy- level 2, & Sensory motor training for apraxia(Talk tools, USA). She is also certified in Oral Sensory Motor Intervention for Paediatric Feeding Difficulties, Dietetics and Nutrition, Designing and implementing Tele-Rehabilitation in children, and Management of children with learning disabilities & ADHD.
Her work as a speech therapist is driven by her passion for success by combining evidence based behavioral and relationship development approaches in therapy practice. She is a strong advocate for early intervention and has devoted her career to improving the lives of children with communication disorders. She is passionate about inspiring parents, children, and her team members to keep exploring new ways to foster their knowledge, attitude and skill. She conducts researches, gives lectures and courses for parents, students, educators and para medical professionals on Speech, Language and communication development and interventions, Augmentative Alternative communication, Intervention for children with Autism, Auditory processing disorders, Apraxia.
