ARTICULATION AND PHONOLOGY

 Sound production errors, cleft lip and palate, Lisping, clarity of speech

VOICE

Aphonia, vocal fold paralysis, Vocal misuse -polyps/nodules

MOTOR SPEECH

Dysarthria, Apraxia, Oro-motor weakness, Facial palsy

NON- VERBAL CONDITION

Provide Augmentative alternative communication therapy

COORDINATE WITH SCHOOL SYSTEMS

To provide learning and intervention programs for children with special needs.

 

ASSESSMENT

We assess clients who have suspected speech (i.e., articulation, voice and/or fluency concerns) and/or understanding and using language (i.e., difficulty or delay in using words to communicate, putting together words and sentences, asking/answering questions, following directions, telling a story, describing or explaining a task, and/or developing social skills).

THERAPY

We provide one-on-one therapeutic intervention and group interactive sessions for children and adults with communication disorders,. We partner with parents or caregiver to develop an individualized therapy plan with short and long-term goals addressing areas of need. Therapy activities will centre on functional and contextual activities to improve skills and facilitate generalization to home, work and community environments
